WHAT TO EXPECT


In your role as a Cyber Security Product Owner, you'll be responsible for our digital security, reviewing documentation and liaising with third parties to create and review our cybersecurity standards, managing projects when needed.


You'll develop robust security solutions and practices for real world deployment, documenting and organising information to create clear and concise insights into our security operations and their importance.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Product leadership for one of the key cyber security technical areas
  • Working to direct a team, without direct management responsibility, to deliver products and services in an agile way
  • Leading the development, presentation and agreement of quarterly proposals for the product development to senior leaders across the business
  • Ensuring sprint planning aligns with business priorities and managing delivery of these through optimised sprint planning
  • Working cross product to ensure dependencies and interfaces with other systems are captured and managed
  • Engaging with cyber security and functional safety experts across the business to improve the overall cyber security posture of the company and drive forward the overall cyber security strategy
  • Engaging with cyber security governance teams to manage risk and prioritise activity

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:


  • Demonstrable experience delivering software or softwarebased systems
  • A strong appreciation of cyber security and its importance in modern digital systems
  • Experience delivering engineering capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to confer complex technical and procedural topics in a clear and concise form and presenting to stakeholders
  • Experience working with and delivering through suppliers
