Main Purpose of the Job


As A Farset Hotel Housekeeper/Cleaner, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests experience the utmost comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

Your Primary Purpose is to maintain Cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

By diligently executing your duties, you contribute significantly to creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that exceeds our guests' expectations.


MAIN DUTIES:


  • Room Maintenance: Perform Thorough cleaning of guest rooms according to established standards including making beds replenishing amenities, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces and
  • Public area cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in all public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotels image of excellence.
  • Laundry Management: Collect soiled linens towels and other items from guest rooms and ensure they are properly laundered and restocked in a timely manner.
  • Inventory, report any shortages or damages, and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
  • Adherence to Health and safety Standards: Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, use personal protective equipment as required, and comply with health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries, striving to enhance their overall experience by providing exceptional service.
  • Report any damages or faults to supervisor or GM
  • To Follow the policy on lost property and ensure it is strictly adhered to carryout other duties as may be required by supervisors or GM

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Basic Access NI Check Required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Commercial cleaning: Knowledge of professional cleaning practices and techniques for maintaining cleanliness in commercial settings.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Good Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Previous Knowledge of COSHH and fire/Health and safety.
  • Flexible and open to change of duties and role.
  • Ability to work with a team and alone.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft word/ Excel Packages

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
