Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the hospitality industry? MGM Muthu Hotel is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a F&B Assistant.


JOB LOCATION:
Muthu Clumber Park Hotel & Spa, Worksop


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the F&B outlets.

Order Taking and Serving: Assist in taking and delivering guest orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order preparation and delivery.

Table Set-Up and Clearing: Prepare and set up tables for service, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement. Clear tables promptly after guest departure.

Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including daily specials, and be able to make recommendations to guests based on their preferences.

Billing and Payment Handling: Process guest bills accurately and handle payments efficiently. Collaborate with the cashier or front desk for smooth billing procedures.

Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper handling of food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, bar, and other F&B staff to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.

Upselling: Promote special menu items, promotions, and upsell additional services to enhance the guest experience.

Customer Feedback: Gather and relay guest feedback to the management team to continuously improve service quality.

Event Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of special events, banquets, or private dining functions.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service techniques.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of billing and payment procedures.
