Business Support Team Leader

Position for 6 months.

It is a part time position for 22.5 hrs a week
- initially working Wed
  • Fri, however there may be scope to be flexible with days worked.
The post will be supporting the Financial Administration Team along side the current Team Leader.

The Service has recently been through a redesign and is currently in a period of transition.


As Team Leader you will have a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of all aspects of the Service during this transitional phase.


You will have a critical role in the effective day to day running of the Service in relation to all resource and administrative functions.


We are looking for someone who has experience of stakeholder management; who possesses outstanding leadership and management skills, who is well organised, creative and innovative in their thinking and approaches; who can set, work to and meet tight deadlines; who is articulate and proactive.


You must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.

The post will have opportunity to working on a hybrid basis - working from home / office.


When you attend an office it will either be at New Aston House (North Birmingham) or Lifford House (South Birmingham).

Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £21.64 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lancaster Circus: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- retail: 1 year (preferred)

  • Stock taking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving (required)
