This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a fast growing London agency at the start of its journey in building a project management team.


By joining their newly created team you'll have a chance to make a difference - influencing how they deliver, shaping their approach to project management and becoming an integral part of building an efficient, flexible and fun team.

You'll get to work ona wide variety of projects within some of the agencies most valued clients. Deliverables will be hugely varied, and the projects are multi-channel including digital, medical education and advertising.


This is the start of the journey in building the project management function so to be successful as part of their newly evolving environment you will need to be self-motivated, have ideas about ways of working, be able to build trust quickly and effectivelywith all team members/departments and be happy as the go to person when we need a solution.


Project management approach

Simplify:

Project Management should simplify the process, the tasks, the issues, the opinions and the requirements, leading teams to the most efficient and logical conclusion.


Communicate:
Communication should be the fundamental building block through which they operate.

You can only achieve the desired outcome if everyone is aware and on board with how you are going to get there.


Control:
Report, flag, mitigate risk, adapt to change and control the overall direction of travel. Information should flow, tools and systems should be used, and surprises should be kept to a minimum.


Deliver:
Project Management is only successful if it delivers. You are judged (rightly) by your ability to hit deadlines, control budgets and influence quality. All decisions should be made with the ultimate delivery as the focus.


Who you are

  • You should be comfortable delivering against all of the competencies outlined in the role section above
  • You will have at least 2 years experience as a project manager or executive within an agency environment, healthcare advertising is a huge bonus although not essential
  • You must have an interest in working within healthcare we'll expect to see genuine enthusiasm for what we do here
  • You have the ability to manage a wide range of projects with a focus on quality, budgets and timings
  • You should have strong commercial acumen and ability to translate that into scoping & resource planning
  • You will have experience of the full project lifecycle ranging from client brief through strategy, creative, design, copywriting, asset creation, production, execution and delivery
  • You will have exceptional communication skills and be a logical, confident 'voice'
  • You should have relationship management experience and ability to interact efficiently with various stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • You should have strong attention to detail and an ability to influence and listen
  • You'll be willing to offer operational guidance and solutions for the entire agency and have a passion for building the right approach to project management
  • You will have the ability to choose the correct communication method for the situation and use it to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • You won't be fazed by a new project management setup and being a founder member of that team
  • You will be willing to work across agency on building a new function offering advice and thrive in showing the way by action
