Lead SDET (Java/Fully Hands on) -Global FinTech

Salary -up to £125k + bonus + benefits

Hybrid policy -2 days in London a week

We are partnered with a global FinTech who provide cloud-based products to the financial industry and boast over 900 employees across multiple offices worldwide.

They're looking to transform the London office into their main engineering hub and require a Lead SDET to directly work within the code to design, develop and maintain their automation frameworks from scratch, architecture and tooling.

As a Lead SDET you will

Need to have significant Java programming experience
Lead an agile team responsible for the delivery of highly scalable and performant systems
Build and develop Automation frameworks from scratch

As the Lead SDET, you'll drive continual improvement across the team's automation frameworks and coverage with a large focus on shift-left testing and TDD, as well as participating in coaching, road-map planning, technical leadership and line management.

You will get exposure to a solid tech stack as a Lead SDET including
:Core Java, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetess, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Spring, JMeter, JUnit, Elasticsearch, Big Data, Hadoop, Kafka and NoSQL databases.

The London office (EMEA HQ) has grown from 10 to 300 over the last 2 years and is continuing to expand.
