Description

The post requires Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification Health Professions Council License to Practice Registered member of RCSLT The post-holder will be required, from time to time, to travel out from the base to attend training events, meetings, and domiciliary visits.

Uniform will be provided, and any equipment needed for the job role.

There may be an additional requirement to work some weekends and bank holiday rotas as part of a 7 day service Knowledge, Training and Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated through writing, planning, audits, policies and guidelines Highly developed auditory and perceptual skills in the assessment diagnosis and treatment of service users Able to use knowledge and make judgements in order to contribute to Speech and Language Therapy service delivery and development Autonomous, motivated individual able to work under pressure and without direct supervision Developing experience in the delivery of training and staff development programmes.

IT skills Experience as a student or as a volunteer in specialist area/awareness of issues involved in that specialist area Please see job description and person specification attached for more details.
