We are now looking for a new
Senior Business Controller to join the global business control team and play a key role in planning and delivering on our ambition to change UK healthcare forever.

We have already achieved a lot but we are just getting started so we need your proactive, can-do attitude to help us make the next step in our exciting journey.

As a member of the finance function reporting into our Head of Group Business Control, you will play a pivotal role in both the UK and Global Business Control teams.

You have previous experience working in FP&A / Commercial Finance with a solutions driven approach mindset, comfortable with change, excelling on a strategic level whilst loving rolling up your sleeves developing processes and driving changes.

Key Responsibilities

Take our forecasting to the next level

Take full ownership of the UK Financial Plan model and build it out as we grow new business lines.
Forecast variances to plan and work with directors to supercharge our growth.
Lead the financial modelling on projects such as pricing, M&A and other key initiatives.

Continuously improve our understanding of the business

Lead the UK month end process and create valueadd insights for the UK and global management teams.
Drive improvements and automation in the month end process to bring us closer to a 'realtime P&L'.
Work with the Global Business Control team to deliver projects that transform and digitalise the finance function to make it best in class.

Empower our senior managers

Develop our understanding of each contract's performance to enable the business to deliver a better service for our patients and our partners.
Empower our senior managers with financial insights and coach them on how to drive value from it.
Level up our cost control to ensure we drive the most value from each pound of investment.

Your profile & skills

University degree with a Relevant finance qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
Solid experience of business control / FP&A with broad knowledge of financial and business principles and processes.
Selfstarter with the ability to drive the business control function in the UK in collaboration with the Group business control team.
Proven track record in management reporting and performance management, as well as in the development of the finance processes through automation & technology.
Solid experience in managing forecasting and planning processes.
Excellent communication skills & ability to challenge managers/stakeholders.
Teamoriented with a strong ability to collaborate; experience leading a team is a plus.
Strong knowledge/experience within analytics & business intelligence.
Nice to have only healthcare industry experience, exposure to digital transformation or R&D oriented businesses, tools (Anaplan and NetSuite) a plus.
