£32,000 to £42,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5-hour week

A permanent role working for a worldwide advanced technology solutions manufacturing organisation.
A PLC Software Engineer is required with knowledge of designing, developing and commissioning PLCs for NPI and retrofit electrical design for special purpose build machines.
Due to expansion with the design team this Worcester based client requires a dynamic, leading PLC Software Engineer on a permanent basis to add to a team of 6
.
As a PLC Software Engineer, you will be required to:
- Design, development and commissioning of PLCs for new projects
- Evaluation and enhancement of existing PLC systems
- Preparation of software specifications, test procedures and manuals
- Liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors
- Troubleshooting and problemsolving
- Computer science and programming skills
- Strong understanding of machine control (PLCs, Fieldbus)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- Good communication skills, think analytically and have personal responsibility
- Previous experience of major automation/machinery projects using Mitsubishi PLC software is preferred
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with knowledge of PLC Software Engineering within a manufacturing company for NPI and current production.
- Full time permanent contract
- 37.5 hour working week with an early finish on Fridays
