Midwifery Matron hours - Permanent


We are looking for a Senior Midwife who is highly motivated, influential and passionate about improving quality and safety in midwifery.

We are looking for a midwife who can provide clinical oversight, leadership to support the delivery of quality, safety and assurance agenda in our maternity services.


The Matron for Safety, Quality and Assurance will focus on risk management, clinical governance and developing a safe culture, alongside the promotion of high-quality clinical care and a positive service user and staff experience.


The Matron will play a pivotal role alongside the midwifery and obstetric leadership team in ensuring the implementation and assurance of the CQC, CNST standards, including the recommendations from both the Ockenden and East Kent reports along with any other independent maternity reviews.
