Role:
Activities Co-ordinator 37.5 hours per week (9am-5pm shift pattern)

Salary:
£10.00 per hour

As an Activities Co-ordinator at Ashcroft Care Home, you must be a passionate and caring person who is able to deliver high quality person-centred care, promote dignity and independence for all our residents.

You must have a sympathetic understanding of the needs of elderly people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

To plan and coordinate activities and outings for the residents both individual and group events.
To assess each individual resident to determine their interests, abilities and areas of development.
To arrange a programme of activities to enable each resident to maintain and achieve an independent a life as possible.
To maintain the appropriate records as necessary.
To motivate the residents in all areas of activity.
To assist in the planning and running of fund raising and social activities.
To comply with the homes policies and procedures at all times
To report to the appropriate member of staff and significant changes in the health and wellbeing of a resident
To encourage residents to remain as independent as possible.
