An FMCG company looking is for an Assistant Accountant to join their team in Newport on a permanent basis. (Immediate start)

Working for a big name in the FMCG industry, your overall role will be to provide in depth variance analysis and to communicate this to Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysis and reporting of packaging, raw material and labour variances
Financial responsibility to ensure accurate KPI and MI is communicated to management.
New product costings calculation of recipe, packaging, and labour costs.
Capital Expenditure responsibility for multimillion pound project spend, including periodic forecasting of spend.
Period end accounting including accruals and prepayments
Monitoring and communicating overhead spend to budget holders
