Job Description Summary

A full time role working 35 hours per week, primarily office based and located in Lloyds Banking Group, Keens House, Andover.

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen within our Operational team where you'll be responsible for a variety of administrative and telephony tasks and developing day to day relationships with a portfolio of both our new and existing Agricultural clients, as well as other key partners such as Solicitors, AMC Land Agents and AMC Regional Agricultural Managers.

The role will be very varied and below are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the overall delivery of loan amendments for existing customers.
  • Discuss new lending enquiries with existing and potential clients
  • Work closely with customers to secure acceptance of a Loan Offer
  • Assist in the delivery of AMC's drawn lending annual benchmarks
  • Discuss and process security property and loan change requests for existing clients

In this role, you'll demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, an ability to work within given guidelines and tight timescales, and be capable of working in a very lively environment.

You'll also possess strong organisational skills, be a self-starting, standout colleague with a clear focus on delivering results whilst also providing excellent customer service.

Using your high standard of attention to detail to ensure an easy and simple process for the customer whilst safeguarding AMC's position at all times, paying due regard to legal matters, lending policy and all associated regulation.

Experience within a customer services environment is required whilst legal/agricultural knowledge may also be advantageous, although full training will be given.

The role is primarily office based and located in Lloyds Banking Group, Keens House, Andover.

This is a challenging and diverse role in which you'll be responsible for your own case management.

You'll collaborate closely with customers, solicitors, Land Agents and SME Credit providing guidance within a pressurised department which has to meet client and business timelines for drawdown of a mortgage, or a change to a customer's security property/mortgage, and it is therefore important that you can build strong business relationships and remain calm throughout.

Right from the beginning, we'll give you full training and all the support you need with 1-to-1 training.

During this time you'll get all the coaching and development you need, to achieve your competency, and we'll help you to acquire a full understanding of our operational policies and procedures plus give you an awareness of regulatory requirements, so you don't necessarily need previous experience of finance or banking however some knowledge and experience in an administrative and telephone based role is a plus.

AMC is a small head office function and where possible we actively encourage our people to develop skills and experience across the business that supports a flexible workforce to effectively manage workloads.

You may therefore, from time to time, also be expected to carry out other duties than those listed above, where the capabilities are the same and the role is of an equivalent level.

Normal office hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday although we're open to discussions about flexible working to facilitate a working arrangement suitable to both you and the business.

We're an equal opportunity employer and deeply value diversity within our organisation.

At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities.

With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.

We're focused on creating a values-led culture and are committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve.

Together we're building a truly inclusive workplace where all of our colleagues have the opportunity to make a real difference.
