We are currently seeking to recruit a Lecturer (Teaching & Research) to join our academic Faculty as part of the History/Military History teams from in September 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The role will involve assuming module leadership roles and associated marking, administrative and tutorial duties.

This post will initially be focused on our undergraduate degrees (levels 4-6) but may involve co-ordinating and delivering Foundation Year and Master's degree activity.

Another aspect to the role involves acting as a personal tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to ensure that students are empowered to make the best possible progress in their learning.

The post-holder will join a research-active team and will be expected to contribute to the department as an active researcher, via publication, outreach, and funding bids.

The Lecturer post also includes assuming proportionate responsibility for student recruitment and outreach, in support of the Programme Leader and History/Military History teams.
