Salary £28,900 - £30,600

Hybrid Working - Remote / London

Full Time (35 hpw)

Fixed Term Contract for 11 months (Maternity cover)
The Royal College of Anaesthetists is the professional body responsible for the specialty throughout the UK. We are the third largest medical royal college in the UK by membership.

With a combined membership of more than 24,000 Fellows and Members, we ensurethe quality of patient care by safeguarding standards in the three specialties of anaesthesia, intensive care and pain medicine.


We have an opportunity for an Education Administrator to join our team to curate and create the educational content of the College's education and simulation programme as well as overseeing and supporting the development of our e-learning platform.

You willbe looking for opportunities to commercialise the content as well as co-ordinating the external bookings side of the College's venue.


The role:

The role splits into three areas.

The first of which is working on the production and delivery of educational content and resources across our media delivery channels.

This includes videos, podcasts and co-ordination of the College's extensive e-learningprogramme.

You will also ensure we focus content on our members as well as commercialising and integrating with other College workstreams where possible.


Another area of work for this role is working with a clinical Fellow in the implementation of the College's simulation strategy.

This involves co-ordination of a network of national leads as well as the curation and creation of educational resources.


This role will also be facilitating the commercialisation of the venue hire spaces of Churchill House, the College's home, which involves co-ordinating all external room bookings.

You will be customer facing dealing with queries, booking space and ensuringa smooth experience for external events and meetings.


About you:


We are looking for an Administrator with previous experience of being involved with producing and marketing educational content and will have the ability to successfully work under pressure on more than one project at once.


You will need to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, have the ability to manage your time and work to deadlines, plus you will have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, databases, online content and social media.
