CompEx inspector - Carrying out routine inspections to existing and new plant & equipment.

Working alongside the client and site electrical teams to ensure all equipment and installations are installed to current standards and regulations.

Assist the operational team in all E&I project construction verification aspects.

Carry out Electrical and Instrumentation construction activities.


Possess particular practical, productive and electrical engineering skills with knowledge of the most economical and effective layout of electrical installations, together with the ability to achieve a high level of productivity in the work in which they control.

To be able to set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition the necessary installation materials and able to accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and supervise other operatives.

They should also have a thorough working knowledge of the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry and of the current I.E.E.

Regulations for Electrical Installations and CompEx EX01-04 Gas and Vapours inposections

Experience;
Time Served Electrical Apprenticeship - essential
Working on projects in a Petrochemical environment - essential

Carrying out inspections to the clients requiremnets to meet all current regulation standards
