Mr Cavendish Coffeehouse forms part of a Unique Independent Lifestyle Store in Chelmsford, Essex with Cavendish Home (Interiors & Lifestyle) & Craig Hubert (Hair Salon).

Mr Cavendish Coffeehouse is an Artisan Coffee Shop, with a small food offering, and eat-in/take-away options.

Our coffee is roasted locally and we pride ourselves of serving amazing coffee with a high level of customer service in a friendly and professional working environment.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

As a front-of-house employee, our Baristas represent the brand and the culture of our establishment and provides customers with a professional and friendly service.

Duties may include the following:

Serving customers for both Mr Cavendish & Cavendish Home, consistently providing high quality beverages, ensure all items both Coffee & Home are well presented when purchased/sold, taking orders and processing payments.

Responsibility for Open & Closing as per the team rota

Unpacking deliveries, restocking shelves, moving boxes & furniture.

Cleaning tables, work and display areas


Key Skills

• Passionate about Coffee & Home Interiors
• Confident making Barista style coffees and other drink options
• Be Punctual and Willing to complete all aspects of duties, from serving customers, making coffees, unpacking deliveries, wrapping orders
• Great attention to detail and love making things look beautiful from serving a coffee and slice of cake, to wrapping gifts & products from Cavendish Home.

• Strong Customer Service

• Friendly, approachable and fun work attitude
• Organisational skills, be proactive and use your initiative everyday
• A Team Player

Experience & Qualifications

• Hospitality: Minimum of 2 years (required)
• Barista experience: Minimum 1 year (preferred)
• You must be able to deliver great tasting coffee in a friendly, engaging and customerfocused manner.

• Opening Hours

• Monday-Saturday, 7am3.30pm
• Training Program to be completed prior to fixed rota
