Teaching Personnel are currently partnered with a number of secondary schools within the high peak area, that are in need of a Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.


If you feel that you're wanting to start your Teaching career and build up your confidence within a classroom setting, then we may have the perfect opportunity for you.

- £350 - £450 per week (depending on experience/qualifications).

  • Work alongside a set of supportive staff to guide you through your teach experience.
  • Passionate and positive attitude to help support the students through their learning.
  • Prior experience working within a school setting. (Ideal but not essential).
  • Willingness to learn and develop across a range of different areas within a school setting.
  • Have strong communication throughout the whole process of your Teaching experience.
Upon successful registration with Teaching Personnel, the roles and responsibilities of the job will include:

  • Work with students on a 1/2/1 or small group basis, to develop their learning and attainment.
  • Help the current teacher throughout the classroom activities where needed.
  • Ensure the pupils remained focused and on task during lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation and providing of materials and resources during the class activities.
  • Maintain a strong level of behaviour management with the students in hand.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
