Description

From radio waves and microwaves, to x-rays and nuclear fuel, radiation is all around us and has many different uses.

As we research radiation and its effect on human cells, we have also discovered various medical uses such as cancer treatments.

These treatmentsare specialised and are able to be targeted directly at cancerous cells, limiting the damage to surrounding, healthy tissues.

Our client is a industry leading manufacturer of specialist radiation detection equipment.

Due to increased demand and the release of new products, they are currently searching for a production engineer with an electrical bias, to join their expanding teamin Sheffield.

You will be joining a friendly team, manufacturing the latest technology in the sector.

Once the detectors are built, you will test them rigorously and be able to fault find down to component level.

You may also be required to pick up components from suppliersusing a company vehicle.

Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Building and testing equipment
Updating QA documentation
Supporting R&D colleagues
Supporting Service Department

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be based onsite at our clients state of the art facility in East Sheffield.

A full UK Drivers license is required for this role, and we are
