About the Role:


The Customer Service Advisor will join our small, friendly service team, working accurately in a fast paced and varied role.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Logging customer orders within 24 hours
  • Dispatching product samples within 48 hours
  • Processing customer orders, ensuring costs, quantities and timescales are accurate
  • Raising purchase orders, checking against contracts and discussing any discrepancies with customers
  • Booking deliveries
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers as required
  • Processing order amendments accurately and in line with agreed timescales
  • Logging, investigating and resolving order queries
  • Providing admin support to Account Managers within the Sales team
  • As part of the team, answering inbound telephone calls
  • Covering workloads for other Customer Service Advisors in their absence
  • Any other admin support as required to meet business needs.

About You:


  • Admin experience, ideally gained in a customer service environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with costs and data entry
  • Strong customer focus
  • IT literacy, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan own workload to meet multiple deadlines
  • Great team player who enjoys working with others
  • An understanding of food safety or willingness to learn
