**Surgical Ward Nurse
Chatham, Maidstone
Band 5 equivalent**We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse for a hospital in Chatham few miles from Maidstone. A busy hospital that caters for screening checks, acute and minor surgery and recovery and rehab.

The busiest services at the hospital are Surgical therefore we are seeking Nurses to work on the wards.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- completing the drug/medical rounds
- maintain and complete paperwork accurately which includes discharge paperwork and completing care pathways.
- liaising with the multidisciplinary team

You will provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of surgical procedures and deliver expert care for patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

NMC registration (NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL)

__Experience in Surgical Ward advantageous_

Clinically competent in Cannulation and phlebotomy and IV medication administration

Rotational shifts band 5 equivalent + excellent benefits package
