Position:
Hire Controller & Commercial Assistant
The Role:
Working as part of a team in a very busy and fast paced Plant Hire & Groundworks Co. To provide a prompt & efficient service to customers. To maximise all revenue opportunities. To administer all associated paperwork & to always provide outstanding customer service.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and that procedures for hire & sales contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, asset administration, are adhered to.
- Liaise with the director to ensure equipment required for hire is available.
- Coordinate delivery driver each day and create schedules to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently.
- Maximise consumable sales opportunities at every opportunity.
- Ensure availability and utilisation of fleet.
- Hire & Sales Revenue Growth
- Make & record new outbound weekly sales leads
- Maintain close contact with customers
- Zero customer complaints
- Ongoing management appraisal
- Minimal administration errors
- Adherence to company procedures
- Work with and support the external Sales Representatives
- Ensure consistent high quality of customer satisfaction
- IT literate ON RENT or MCS Software experience would be useful
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- Strong planning and organisational skills
