Overview of role


Location:
West Bromwich


Working closely with the VMU shift teams to make available all required vehicle parts in line with the vehicle maintenance schedule and breakdowns.


To have a control, organise and produce all vehicle parts required in line with company procedures, Fleet Management Administration, working safely and in line with company values at all times.

Key Accountabilities

To accurately process all Fleet administration documentation.

To help achieve shift KPI's by ensuring that parts are available for their delivery

To comply with laid down safety procedures, highlighting any non compliance issues to the VMU Manager/FLM


To ensure that established parts supply contractors are effectively utilised, carrying out price comparisons when necessary to ensure continued delivery of best value to the business.

To comply with all company procurement, stock holding and financial regulations and procedures.


To ensure that best value is achieved through continually reviewing and identifying improvement opportunities for procurement and stock holding functions.

To work flexibly in carrying out any other duties as required

To focus on budget process

The Right Person

Experience of working in a vehicle maintenance environment is ideal

Previous Experience of Managing a Stock Controlled Environment

Computer skills to operate Fleet Management system

Driving Licence, LGV licence desirable but not essential

Work as part of a Team

Flexible attitude and willing to adopt other duties as part of a small administration team.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
