MAIN JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Membership.


As the Head of Membership, you will be part of the Senior Management Team and will play a vital role in leading and managing all aspects of our membership department.

Your primary responsibility will be to drive membership growth, engagement, and retention by implementing innovative strategies and delivering exceptional member experiences, with particularly focus on our patrons, premium members and strategic partners.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To drive sales of membership, membership services and opportunities to create commercial income streams
  • To set up systems / processes and monitor ongoing KPIs
  • Development of new, and the take up of, existing business savings
  • Collect and feedback opportunities and support rectifying service issues identified
  • Review and assess value in membership packages in response to member feedback
  • Increase commercial revenue opportunities
  • Ensure that the CRM is fully updated with all leads and opportunities, produce reports and maintain membership data
  • Be the primary contact to manage and support our Patron, Premium and Standard Plus members.
  • Development and recruitment of new Chamber Patrons
:


  • Proactively meet members needs with additional products and services
  • Deliver presentations and represent the Chamber at events, as required including presenting the membership offer.
  • Develop lasting relationships, whilst seeking to exceed member expectations (through advice, support and/or signposting)
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders and influencers
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote membership benefits and initiatives
  • Responsible for leading and developing the membership team to ensure agreed targets are at least met
  • Oversee the membership recruitment process, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion
  • Implement the Performance Management System and manage team performance effectively.
  • Coach and develop individual team members to ensure that they carry out their role to the desired level
  • Establish a clear communication strategy which outlines the purpose and activities of the team and how these contribute to the wider strategies
  • Prepare and present regular reports on membership growth, retention, and engagement to the executive team and the board of directors

Requirements:


  • A full driver's licence with business insurance (Access to a car considered essential as visits to members and events around the county are required)

  • Experience of working in a notforprofit /membership environment
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • An indepth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • Knowledge / experience of key business sectors within Lincolnshire

Salary:

£35,000.00 per year
