The Circle Health Group is seeking a skilled Recovery Practitioner (ODP) for a temporary position at King's Park Hospital in Stirling, South Scotland.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading healthcare provider and make a difference in the lives of patients.


As a Recovery Practitioner (ODP), you will play a key role in the perioperative care of patients, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout their surgical journey.

You will work closely with the surgical team, providing expert assistance and support in the operating theater.


You will be responsible for preparing the operating theater and equipment, ensuring everything is clean, sterile, and ready for use.

You will assist with the induction and preoperative assessment of patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about their procedure.

During surgery, you will monitor the patient's condition, administer medication, and provide immediate assistance to the surgical team when required.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be required to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Your ability to remain calm under pressure and work well in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.


To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Previous experience working in a similar role within a surgical setting is highly desirable.

This temporary position will start on 07/03/2024 and end on the same date. The shift will start at 09:00:00 and end at 18:00:00, providing a full day of rewarding work. You will be compensated with a payment rate of £261.27 per shift.
