Role in our Family:


  • Processing various AR transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Maintenance of accurate daily revenue reporting, including reconciliation to bank
  • Ensure control accounts/bank account are reconciled
  • Organisation/planning skills and ability to prioritise
  • Rigorous commitment to accuracy and details
  • Analytical approach and creativity in problem resolution
  • 100 % compliance with all internal control procedures
  • Credit Control chasing local authorities and private customers for overdue debt
  • Engage management over any AR problems
  • Performing day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, posting and recording AR data
  • Daily sales reporting for the Hotels
  • Ensure the night audit report are received, checked and uploaded. Queries from the night audit reports must be corrected the next day
  • Ensure all hotels are updated with Bacs payments received in the bank on set days (you must see this through by monitoring the hotel allocating in to PMS)
  • Follow month end procedures accurately and by the given deadline
  • Reconciliation of Control accounts
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve with internal or external stakeholders
  • Assist with year end audit
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, effectively present ideas and turn them into practical actions. Support wider finance team and Splendid group goals and initiatives.

Person Specifications:

  • Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Good communicator, building meaningful relationships with team members
  • Team player with an ability to contribute to wider Splendid Group goals
  • Self starter with a strong desire for personal development
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience/education level
  • Must have worked in Accounts Receivable environment for at least 2 years
  • Knowledge of Sage 200, or similar software would be preferable
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Having worked in hospitality environment is preferable
  • Hit the ground running attitude.
