Description

Xiros is an award winning company that designs and manufactures têxtile based orthopaedic implants. Due to ongoing expansion, we are now looking for a Medical Devices Operative to join our friendly team.

The work will involve winding têxtiles into components that will be used for implantable medical devices, up to 60mm in size.

The majority of the work involves sitting down, using hand-eye coordination and a small desktop machine to make the têxtile implants manually.

You will therefore need to have good attention to detail and be nimble/dextrous with your hands.

As the products pass through stringent quality assurance processes, you will also need to have a good standard of English and Maths to enable accurate completion of quality documents.

Full training will be provided.

The role is full-time working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm based at our headquarters in Yeadon next to Leeds Bradford Airport.

Salary Range & Benefits

We offer a starting salary of £24,150 rising to circa £26,000, with further pay awards on completion of training.

We also offer a generous benefits package on completion of the probationary period worth approximately 15% of salary, which includes a non-contributory pension and a range of flexible benefits.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21 February 2024 and will consist of a three stage assessment process lasting approximately 2 hours.
