Job Overview:


  • You will be employed as an Apprentice Painter and Decorator
  • You will be trained accordingly to carry out tasks as per below
  • This will include 20 weeks at College for your 1st year, then 10 weeks at college for the 2nd yr. of the apprenticeship.
  • You will be working towards a recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating

Main Duties

  • Learning all aspects of painting and Decorating
  • To carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements as instructed by management
  • To carry out preparation works to walls to make good ready for decoration.
  • Minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
  • Undertake minor repair works
  • To use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety at all times
