Back-End Developer -.Net Core /.Net - Perm - Remote - Market Disrupting SaaS Platform

Gerrard White is working with a cutting-edge, high-growth SaaS provider within the global insurance sector who are looking for an experienced Backend Software Developer to join them.

Working with C#.Net Core /.Net 6 frameworks your role will be involved in a market-disrupting, no-code cloud-based platform, changing the way insurers can design and deliver insurance products to market.

Responsibilities of the Backend Developer

Analysing requirements and developing new features for our platform.
Fixing software defects and improving existing functionality.
Working in a fastpaced agile environment, delivering over sprints.
Attending and engaging in sprint ceremonies.
Writing unit tests and performing code reviews produced by other developers.
Working with our wider engineering team, including Architects, DevOps, QA, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and Product Owner.

Technical Requirements and Experience
You will have at least 2 years' experience as a software developer with hands on experience using:

C#.NET Core/.NET
LINQ and Entity Framework.
SQL Server.
Web APIs, e.g. REST/gRPC.
Source control management, e.g. Git.
Unit tests, e.g. XUnit.

You will also need to have had some working experience with:

Web-based languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Azure DevOps.
Issue tracking tools, e.g. JIRA.
Strong OOP and SOLID principles.
Ability to multitask and handle competing deadlines in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
