Corporate Digital & IT Controls Lead

Role Purpose
We are End to end accountable for Corporate IT platforms and products and our team drive the day to day product value and velocity.
Within Corporate IT Platforms, the Dev Sec Ops team plays a very critical role to assure the underlying technology platforms, enablement capabilities to accelerate product delivery and accountability for all day to day operational service excellence to the business.
The magnitude of services related to this role in a financial year is in the region of:
- 150+ projects and functional changes
- Two major release, two midreleases, 8 ERP drops enabling AGILE project delivery and a number of cloud releases deployed annually
- More than 100k Vodafone EVO users affected worldwide
- Ongoing and multiple system enhancement\upgrades
- Assuring robust technology governance controls
It will also play an expanded role beyond IT Platforms to partner with the Group GITC SOX Chapter Lead to orchestrate and drive a roadmap for technology and operational improvements across all Vodafone entities globally specific to IT and SOX controls.
The Corporate Digital & IT Controls lead will take on the essential role of driving our approach and execution to successful outcomes.
This leader will cultivate an integrated culture that assures effective control through simplification using optimised technology and operational capabilities to enable faster time to market.

The Corporate Digital & IT Controls Lead will:
- Be accountability for IT Platforms controls compliance (Technology Risk and Control Matrix (including CSB, and SOX compliance))
- Ensure IT Compliance by Design in ongoing and future transformation and migration Projects
- Own and drive an integrated control roadmap for IT platform including engagement with internal and external auditors
- Explore Standardization and Streamline initiatives & share leading practices across Vodafone entities
- Partner with GITC Controls Lead to identify key risks, improvement opportunities and orchestrate the future roadmap to address
NOTE:
Control accountability for specific Vodafone entities remains with the associated entity lead

We are looking for a trusted and motivated controls lead who can effectively develop and deliver a compelling vision. This will require close collaboration with diverse stakeholders and bring a passion for innovation to accelerate Vodafone's effectiveness.
The role will need to blend their functional expertise and strong stakeholder management to integrate an effective outcome that meets the needs of our business.
Deliver in an agile/SAFe manner - driving a clear backlog with stakeholder alignment so that we ensure alignment across matrix teams and challenge vendors to address our priorities.

With us you will:
- All IT Platform related controls (IT, SOX, and Security)
- Provide expert controls advice and best practice to guide business and product teams to deliver compliant solutions
- Proposes how to spend budget and be responsible to deliver outcomes based on funding allocated
- Build strong partnership with Group GITC SOX chapter lead and Internal Audit to identify and orchestrate improvements
- Solid understanding of IT Controls/ Sarbanes Oxley/GDPR
- Proven Capability to implement, maintain and improve large scale, complex controls agenda within a multinational organisation
- Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate both verbal and in writing at director level and deliver compelling presentations
- Proven ability to build and expand high performing teams both onshore and offshore
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- 8+ Years of Experience in IT Controls relevant roles
- Extensive experience of a multinational ERP (preferably SAP S4 HANA and ideally exposure to SAP GRC tool)
- Experience (over 5 years) in assessing and solve SOX for largescale and complex Business Transformation Programmes across multiple countries.
- Be willing and able to travel when required.
