**Trainee Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant


Salary:
£70 a day

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

_Are you looking for a flexible role as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting? _
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Welsh speaking teaching assistant to work in Welsh Primary Schools in Cardiff. You do not need previous classroom experience, however experience working with children would be beneficial for the role. The main essentialskill this role requires is the ability to speak fluent Welsh.

This role is fully flexible therefore will be suitable for those who are seeking a full-time position or part-time work.


Day to day activities include:


  • Helping the class teacher manage classroom behaviour
  • Ensuring classroom is tidy
  • Setting up equipment for each lesson
  • Supervising children at lunch time
  • Leading small groups of 68 pupils during lessons
  • Supporting children with numeracy and literacy

What we need from you:


  • To be registered with the EWC
2x professional references

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Fluency in Welsh
  • A permanent address in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
