Founded in 2010, my client is a disruptive financial technology (FinTech) company.

Their clients are made up of Leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, commodity houses, and brokerage firms (collectively representing over 20 trillion dollarsof AUM).

They develop AI-assisted Software Products that offer market-leading trade data analysis in the following areas: Market Abuse; Operational Risk; Best Execution; Anti Money Laundering and Comms Surveillance.

They are headquartered in London, with further offices in New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Hong Kong, although we are expanding rapidly

Summary of role:
Description

This is a technical, client-facing position with daily interaction with some of the largest financial institutions in the market.

It is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in financial markets, and an appreciation of data analysisto join a fast growing FinTech and make a genuine difference to the Company's success.

We are looking for individuals who have worked closely with financial instruments and have a proactive interest to learn more about this area.


Our client implementation team are responsible for onboarding our clients onto our suite of market leading products, analysing trade data as you ensure it marries up to our system requirements and training our clients in their usage of our cutting-edge toolsalongside our specialist client training function.

There is no daily routine to bore you, and the support of multi-skilled, experienced colleagues at hand. We want talented people who can challenge, build and improve on every aspect of our processes.

Thisrole will set you up within a vastly impactful department and present a variety of training and career progression opportunities in a growing firm.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation process of our cutting edge software platforms, working with our account management and engineering teams to ensure clients have a smooth onboarding to our systems
  • Use your understanding of financial instruments and analytics skills to review and interpret large volumes of client trade data in a controlled and insightful manner
  • Providing significant input and working very closely with development teams and other departments within my client to assist with innovation and company/product development
  • After completing your training process, you will lead large, complex data & analytics projects for some of the world's largest financial institutions
  • Offer clients a technical expertise on the use of our systems in the context of financial trade surveillance
  • Learn my clients bespoke development language (full documentation and training is provided).

Requirements:


  • STEM Degreequalified
  • 3+ years relevant industry experience within a financial setting
  • Proficiency with SQL
- a good understanding of one or more asset classes from Fixed Income, Credit, Equity and Commodities

  • Logical and analytical approach
  • A genuine interest in financial markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable experience in clientfacing positions
  • Driven and eager to achieve results
  • Able to communicate effectively to key stakeholders at all levels
