We are currently recruiting a
Business Security Administrator to be a part of our integral team in
Thiepval Barracks, Lisburn, BT28 3NP
For this role you must have strong IT skills such as MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

DBS and security clearance checks are required due to the nature of workplace.

What you'll be doing

  • You will be responsible for the efficient processing of security clearance information within specified legislative, procedural, and service guidelines
  • Processing clearances in a timely manner and managing a high volume caseload
  • Responsible for conducting preemployment screening of all new employees and contractors
  • Adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Keeping accurate records and updating progress of caseloads to management via management report
  • Conduct Security refresher training for staff and new employees.
  • Help Desk Duties, receive calls, Log issue/compliments, direct to relevant departments, on a rotational basis.

Experience

  • Highly adaptable and able to learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • A high level of personal integrity and mindful of the handling of sensitive information.
  • A selfstarter and learner
  • An ability to evaluate and recommend constant improvement. Qualifications Educated to A level or equivalent (desirable) Experience Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Previous experience and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety within an MOD Establishment
  • Experience of balancing work volumes and working to deadlines
  • Evidence of strong organizational experience
  • Experience of use with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other systems
