Private Patients Booking Advisor

Full time permanent role - office based

Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week - office hours

East Grinstead area. Due to unique and rural workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport. Plenty of free parking available on site

Salary, £25000-£26000 per year plus very good company benefits


We are delighted to be working alongside our private medical based client as they seek to recruit a Patients Booking Advisor to join their friendly, established and busy team based on the outskirts of East Grinstead.

My client is a Private healthcare clinic and prides itself a worldwide Centre of Excellence. Patients are referred nationally and internationally.


The role:


The primary responsibility is to communicate effectively and professionally with self-funding patients in order to facilitate their conversion from enquiry to a consultation, tests and procedure.

Focus on conversion and tracking of self-pay patient enquiries to outpatient appointments and procedures in order to meet monthly targets

Ensure the accurate and timely pricing of procedures to patients ensuring excellent customer service and opportunity for conversion

Prepare sales quotations for patients

Be the point of contact for all self-pay queries across all departments internally and for external customers

To maximise enquiry conversion opportunities through customer service skills

To attend events and liaise with patients, booking patients into consultations or procedures

Undertake all work in accordance with company policies and procedures

Use the CRM and patient portal fully and correctly to keep record of all enquiries and interactions to manage and convert enquiry leads


To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Coming from a sales or call centre type of role would be highly desirable - a position where you are handling customer enquiries and meeting sales objectives

Good understanding of IT and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and customer retention management (CRM) software

Strong work ethic and the ability to work with mínimal supervision

Analytical approach, able to ascertain fact, problem solve and seek answers to queries for the customer

Develop effective working relationships and assist in facilitating effective communication with all colleagues
