AJ Chambers is excited to be working with a prestigious and renowned
Tier 1 London firm, seeking to add a high calibre immigration solicitor
(1-2 Years PQE) to the team, which is headed by one of the leading lawyers in all aspects of personal immigration law.


You will be providing an exceptional level of client service, tailored to individual priorities, for a firm with a long-standing reputation and clients across the globe, from household names to start-ups, international families, high net-worth and prominentindividuals.

The Immigration group advise on all aspects of UK immigration law, and this role in particular will focus specifically on
business immigration.


The Role
The responsibilities of this include (but are not limited to):

  • Advising re. non UK nationals working in the UK;
  • Advising re. temporary work in the UK;
  • Advising re. scope of the visitor rules including permitted activities of a business visitor;
  • Thorough understanding of the Immigration Rules and the Home Office's sponsor guidance.
  • Willingness to take responsibility for tasks when appropriate but also able to follow direction competently and efficiently.
  • Independent and proactive approach under pressure when required but able to ask for help.
  • Use commercial judgement whilst also being technically strong.
  • Demonstrate good analytical skills, attention to detail and strategic thinking
  • Confidence when socialising and advising directly to clients and the Home Office
  • Take an active role and interest in business development within the firm and across all the firm's industries.
