Security Officer - external patrol team

Location:
Battersea Power Station

Rate:
£12.50 per hour

Shift pattern: 4 DAYS, 4 OFF, 4 NIGHTS, 4 OFF / overtime opportunities

A great opportunity to join the security team at the new Battersea Power Station development. This grade II listed London landmark is now a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.
Applicants must hold a
SIA license and have excellent customer service skills.

The role will see you working a set shift pattern (4 on / 4 off) covering days, nights & weekends.

This role will see you working across Battersea Power Station Estate as part of the internal security patrol team or the external security patrol team.


Essential criteria:


  • SIA License holder
  • Happy undertaking extensive internal or external patrols. This role will involve plenty of walking.
  • Happy working a mixture of days, nights & weekends.

Duties to include:


  • Your principle role will be to undertake foot patrols s part of either the internal or external security team
  • To ensure the safety and security of the shopping mall and wider estate
  • Undertake health & safety checks
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • To deter and detect terrorism.
  • Deter and detect crime and discourage antisocial behaviour.
  • Provide an effective physical and visual security presence
  • Respond to fire alarm activations, incidents and emergencies.
  • To provide first aid support, or assist first aiders when appropriate.
  • Complete incident forms, notebook entries or Accident Report Forms as required.
