We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team to manufacture and pack products within the defined quality procedures
.

The business has recently expanded its production facilities which has created a need to expand our current work force.

Key Responsibilities

Products are manufactured and packed to the highest standard and quality is maintained through the production process
Lead, motivate and develop operatives to ensure they achieve their goals, targets and work together as a team, creating a positive food safety and quality culture
Handson daily production and allocation of work
Compliance with quality, procedures, company standards and specifications, identifying and initiating controls as required to manufacturer a quality product.
Review efficiency and productivity assessing how improvements can be made
Accurate completion, in real time, of all relevant paperwork and database records necessary to maintain the Quality Management System
Carry out training within agreed timescales, ensuring all staff are trained to undertake the job they are asked to do
Daily monitoring of work area to ensure paperwork is fully completed at the relevant stage of processing
Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required

Person Specification

Good people management and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify problems and react quickly, supporting continuous improvement
A confident leader able to communicate easily with all other team members and departments

Permanent day shift Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
