We're currently seeking a
Renewables Safety and Compliance Officer to support the Safety and Compliance Specialist and wider Building Safety and Compliance team on all renewables and non-core safety matters on behalf of Sovereign.

We can consider the successful applicants being based out of our
Basingstoke, Bristol, Christchurch, or Exeter offices.


The role:

We're installing alternative energy solutions across our homes.

We're seeing a Renewables Safety and Compliance Officer to assist with the delivery of compliance in the Renewable and non-core compliance areas of the organisation.


This role is key to support the delivery of the renewables and non -core inspection and testing programme including the management of the contract supply chain and the internal relationships within Sovereign.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective and accurate management of renewables and non core compliance data. Through transparent contract management arrangements ensure that all inspections, testing and assessments are completed ahead of due dates.


What we're looking for:


  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Renewables and 'Non-Core' Management in the Housing Sector
  • Ability to communicate responsibilities to data users and assure the proper use of data within their domain
  • Protecting and monitoring data against misuse and loss
  • Understanding of data breaches, associated implications and industry standards of preventing/triaging a breach
  • Ability to create, test and update process diagrams
  • Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams
  • Experience of working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office suite with Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
  • Membership of IOSH or other professional body
