We are looking for a motivated and energetic Regulatory and Compliance Officer Apprentice to join our growing team.


As a Regulatory and Compliance Officer Apprentice you will be part of a team that upholds the quality of apprenticeship assessment through ensuring that things are done correctly and within the applicable regulation.

The team also make sure that apprentices get the support that they need through, providing general compliance support such as Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations.


You will be working on across a wide range of Apprenticeship Standards within construction, this will give you a great kick start in your career with us providing plenty of opportunity for progression.


You will work across the organisation to ensure that all departments are following Ofqual regulatory rules and to support teams in understanding their role in making sure assessments are done correctly.

You will also liaise with clients such as colleges and employers to ensure that their feedback is heard, and any complaints and appeals are dealt with correctly.

You will be highly professional and organised in your approach, able to communicate effectively at all levels.


You must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow policy and procedure as well as being able to communicate this to other stakeholders and be a quick learner.

As an apprentice you will be working alongside the Quality and Regulatory Manager as well as the Lead Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) as well as other quality team members.


We are an adaptive and fast evolving organisation, so you will need to be agile in your approach to ensure we continue to improve and meet key stakeholder needs.


Support the Quality and Regulatory Manager in delivering compliance related activities including:

  • Carry out activities in line with Construction EPA Company's Ofqual Regulatory requirements.
  • Work within Construction EPA Company's own policies and procedures.
  • Support the administrative processing of compliance related activity such as appeals, complaints, reasonable adjustments and special considerations.
  • Assess regulatory risks and use risk assessment to inform and guide with Construction EPA Company's internal policies and processes to manage, mitigate, escalate and review risks, incidents and trends analysis.
  • Gather, analyse, use and present data to inform regulatory risk assessments.
  • Take full responsibility of your workload, learning and SLAs for compliance responsibilities.
  • Promote the importance of compliance, and their organisation's role in supporting compliance.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of both apprenticeship standards, assessment plans, as well as sector developments associated with apprentices and endpoint assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to upskill, showcase and celebrate endpoint assessment.
  • Provider general EPA support to the wider team
  • Horizon scanning and sharing updates on relevant regulatory insights to Quality and Regulatory Manager and the Senior Management Team
  • Complete a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship over a 24month period.
Any other duties consummate with the post to meet the needs of the organisation. This list is not exhaustive

£17,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
