The position is paying up to £50,000, Fantastic pension options, Health & Dental plans plus many more

The newly created position due to continued business growth, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial compliance and reporting of an UK entity.

Providing preparation and analysis of working papers relating to month end and year end reporting, PSA,Corporation Tax, VAT and Carbon reporting.

Ensuring compliance of financial standards and legislation are met.


Core responsibilities:


  • Work with the finance management team to Improve profitability and cash flow through the execution of effective financial control
  • Produce statutory accounts in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and legislation
  • Prepare the audit working papers for the yearend including Group reporting and intercompany
  • Complete the month end reporting including the preparation of working papers and managing Group reporting closure
  • Ensure compliance of financial standards and other financial legislation
  • Ensure tax compliance and associated reporting. Including supporting UK SAO requirements, VAT, Employment Tax, Corporation Tax, Tax Strategy and Transfer Pricing
  • Prepare working papers for PSA, Corporation Tax and SECR
  • Prepare the VAT return
  • Complete Office for National Statistics Surveys
  • Undertake full monthly balance sheet reviews investigating and resolving any issues

Qualifications, skills and experience required:


  • Qualified accountant in either ACCA or ACA
  • Able to operate effective reporting standards in line with IFRS and FRS 10
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, written and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach whilst looking to make continuous improvements
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills
