What's the assessment process?

Where will I be based?
Your host site will be at Blackburn. You will have the opportunity to visit other sites within our Berry Global network during the programme. Flexibility will be required as placements will be in non-host sites.


What will I be involved in over the programme?


Over the duration of the programme, you will participate in workshops, lead projects as well as having day-to-day activities at the site at which you are based/placed.


You will also be:
- _Coordinating cross divisional tenders on transportation for the UK (and potentially for other countries)_
- _Collecting aata from the plants_
- _Analysing the data and setting a strategy (looking for quick wins)_


What is the duration of the programme?


Workshops will be delivered over an 18 month period and we will discuss permanent opportunities available during the latter part of the programme.


Qualifications:


Our Graduate Programme is searching for analytical, pro-active and creative people who will push us to innovate and stay true to our values of partnership, excellence, growth and safety.

You will be working towards or recently achieved at least a 2.1 degree in Business or Engineering. As well as your qualifications, we look for relevant work experience. Experience in logistics, supply chain or procurement will be favoured.

Applicants will be required to have the permanent legal entitlement to work in the UK. Successful applicants must have excellent English language skills (written and oral).


Responsibilities:

The aim of our programme is to develop capable students into impactful professionals that have sound commercial and business acumen, put quality relationships at the heart of their work whilst demonstrating Berry Global behaviours, values and the qualities of talented and credible leaders

_._ We achieve this through a programme of face to face and virtual workshops which equip graduates with a personal and professional development toolkit.

We will provide commercial awareness in order that graduates understand the business context, our processes and ultimately our customers. The programme creates and supports cross-divisional and cross-geographical networking amongst peers and our One Berry team.


The programme aim is achieved through a combination of face to face and virtual workshops alongside placements of up to six months at one of our many global sites, project work and general and specialist training.

A mentor will be assigned to you.

This is someone outside of your team who will be able to support you in your personal and professional development.
