Waking Night Support Worker (Permanent)

Location:
Blackley (Residential/Respite)

Pay Rate:
£11.42ph

Hours:
Various Contracted Hours Available

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our dedicated team of support workers in providing the highest quality of care to our supported persons.

Responsibilities _(will_included)_

Ø Delivery of person-centred care in accordance with individual Care Plans.

Ø Promote independence, inclusion & personal choice whilst respecting dignity, equality & privacy

Ø Support with daily routines including Personal Care, Mealtimes & Social Activities.

Ø Update & Maintain records in line with Vestacare Confidentiality & Data Protection Agreements

Ø Dispensing & Recording required medication following Vestacare company Policy & Procedures.

Ø Commitment to personal training & learning development

Job Role Requirements:

Skills & Experience:_

Ø Understanding of Learning Disabilities _
Essential_

Ø Previous experience of working in a care setting _
Desirable_

Ø Excellent Listening & Communication skills _
Essential_

Ø To be able to work alone & as part of a team _
Essential_

Ø Basic computer/IT skills _
Desirable_

Ø Able to follow company policies & procedures _
Essential_

Education / Qualifications:_

Ø Level 2 in Health & Social Care _
Desirable_

Ø Appropriate competency level of English language_
Essential_

Ø Appropriate competency level of English reading & writing _
Essential_

Ø UK Driving Licence _
Desirable_
