About the Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and administration functions of the business
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
- Manage the daytoday activities of the Finance and Administration functions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Produce sales and gross margin reports based on projects completed and full accruals analysis, in liaison with QSs.
- Manage the nominal ledger, ensure timely and accurate postings and reconciliations.
- Produce monthly management accounts including departmental expense and budget variance reports for all offices.
- Manage requests for information from other departments and assist the FD to develop a reporting facility that confirms Finance at the centre of cost and efficiency management for the business.
- Assist with the implementation of the new finance system, supporting colleagues in finance and other departments to ensure testing is completed across all areas.
- Develop reports in the new finance system to streamline the monthend process.
- Cashflow Forecasting
About the Person
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA,ACA,CIMA,AAT)
- Previous experience in a similar role of a Management Accountant or Finance Manager
- Experience managing a team
- Strong Excel skills
- Team Player
