Are you an
Infection Preventions & Control Practitioner for a new opportunity? I am working with
Bradford Council

Rate - £23.42 per hour - inside ir35

Your Role

  • Promote safe working through adherence to infection prevention and control
across services provided and commissioned by CBMDC

  • To provide specialist advice and knowledge in relation to IPC to CBMDC services
and those commissioned by CBMDC

  • Undertake risk assessments in relation to IPC in conjunction with CBMDC services
and providers

  • Undertake and facilitate infection prevention audits in healthcare and social care
providers to ensure systems and processes are in place to manage IPC

  • Use specialist skills to identify areas for improvement in relation to IPC care settings
  • Work collaboratively with other IPC teams and the Health Protection Team
to promote IPC and mange outbreaks of infection across the CBMDC area

  • Work in conjunction with Bradford and Craven CCG to provide support and training
in primary care settings as agreed in the local Memorandum of Understanding

  • Contribute to the management of outbreaks of infection in care homes and other
care providers and the wider community

  • Manage own day to day workload with guidance from the IPC team manager
  • Keep accurate documentation of advice and information given to healthcare staff,
carers and the general public


Essentials

  • Healthcare qualification or equivalent level of experience in related discipline
  • Minimum 1 years working at a senior level in a care setting

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£18.00-£23.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- (Infection Prevention and Control) within a Council or


NHS:
