We Educate, a reputable teaching agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of a secondary school in Redbridge.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and operational management of the school while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Head Teacher and SLT members to develop and implement the school's strategic vision, goals, and policies, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum development, staff deployment, resource allocation, and student welfare initiatives, to promote an inclusive and high-achieving learning environment.

Staff Development: Support the professional growth and well-being of teaching and non-teaching staff through effective leadership, mentorship, performance management, and professional development programs.

Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analysis tools and assessment frameworks to monitor student progress, evaluate teaching effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement, implementing targeted interventions as needed.

Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community through open communication, collaborative partnerships, and engagement initiatives that promote student achievement and well-being.

School Improvement Initiatives: Lead or contribute to school improvement projects, initiatives, and quality assurance processes that drive continuous improvement, raise standards, and enhance the overall educational experience for students.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Teaching Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess substantial experience in a senior leadership role within a secondary school setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of educational leadership, governance, and management principles.

Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower staff to achieve collective goals and objectives.

Strategic Thinking: Strategic vision and analytical abilities to develop and implement effective strategies, policies, and action plans that address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and drive school improvement.

Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, building positive relationships and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Resilience and Adaptability: Resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to manage complex situations, navigate challenges, and lead change within a dynamic educational environment.

Salary:

Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
