We want to accelerate the growth of RiskProof, making it the de facto solution for businesses who care about the safety of their customers and employees, in addition to ensuring our clients take a broad portfolio of services and consultancy.


The Role


Following an internal reorganisation, we have created the role of Head of Marketing, reporting to our Commercial Director, to lead our external and internal approach to positioning Shield Safety as the de-facto "go-to" provider in our chosen markets.

You will be responsible for managing a team of talented Marketing Managers and Executives, alongside our external agencies, in addition to being an influential member of the Commercial Leadership Team.


The main responsibilities of the role are to lead a talented team of Marketing specialists covering Digital, Design, Partnerships, Social and Campaigns, developing and implementing plans and strategies to both increase our brand position and support retention and revenue generation.

The development of the Safe to Trade proposition, of which Shield Safety is the inaugural certifying member, gives a consumer focus to the core B2B responsibilities.

You will run and manage our PR, Marketing and Communications budget


This role is responsible for:


  • Developing and implementing strategies to strengthen Shield Safety's market presence and build on the "voice" and market position as the leader in safety software and services
  • Leading a team of Marketing Managers and Executives with a broad range of experience; a natural coach with ability to motivate and manage individuals effectively
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create and increase awareness of the wide range of Shield Safety's products and services
  • Develop Campaign Plan to ensure we have a regular outreach to our chosen target sectors and prospects
  • Develop a detailed and comprehensive annual Marketing Plan covering all aspects of activity based upon timings and reach
  • Oversee all design output, including video and graphic design output
  • Monitor progress and submit detailed progress report s against agreed KPIS including Lead generation, sales conversion, brand awareness, client satisfaction, consumer awareness amongst others
  • Develop integrated Social Media strategy
  • Oversee our Partnership Development strategy, ensuring we have committed and dedicated third party organisations promoting Shield Safety on a paid for and nonpaid for basis
  • Deliver innovative and engaging event presence at key trade events and sector specific
  • Manage external agencies to deliver PR opportunities, including specific media placements and speaking opportunities for Senior Leadership
  • Increasing revenues across our client portfolios against agreed annual targets, ensuring that each Account Manager is executing against individual Account Plans and activity targets; experience in Enterprise level sales will be advantageous
  • Development of a series of Internal events client conferences, webinars etc to increase overall client engagement levels
  • Deliver a monthly management report detailing key activities and plans, reporting progress and achievements as required

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing management/leadership roles, ideally with experience across content, design, digital and social media
  • People management, with experience of leading marketing specialists an advantage
  • Strong creative bias, with desire to develop and execute campaigns in both B2B and consumer channels
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to date with current digital and social media ways or working
  • Working knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • An excellent Networker, proactive in connecting and working with external agencies
  • High level of commercial awareness, KPI driven reporting and target based success criteria

Up to £65,000.00 per year
