Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of patient care activities
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals

Skills:

• Drive: Possess a strong desire to provide highquality care to patients
• Home care experience: Familiarity with providing care in a home setting is preferred
• Care plans: Ability to follow care plans and adapt them as needed for individual patients
• English proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to communicate: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• IT proficiency: Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
• Care home experience: Previous experience working in a care home or similar healthcare setting is a plus
