Domestic Gas Repair Supervisor
As part of a heating maintenance team the post holder will be expected to support a team of repairs and/or maintenance operatives who provide services in domestic heating installations and appliances in client properties.
Key responsibilities;
- Assisting team members on work progress, general maintenance of breakdowns of gas appliances and central heating systems.
- Ensure the correct resources and materials are supplied for each job.
- Monitor engineer's performances & their time management. manage top up hours and advise the FOM on resource planning.
- Ensure security & correct operation of equipment supplied, including vehicles/flue gas analysis meters/mobile data equipment i.e. PDA's.
- Check completed works for compliance with current safety regulations (Regulation 26/9 of the Gas Safety Regulations.)
- Have a logical & methodical approach to problem solving and fault diagnosis, staying focused & providing a satisfactory outcome.
- Have a sound knowledge of Customer Care & possess the ability to deal with emotional demanding customer related situations.
- Ability to work to deadlines & timescales and liaise with managers and clients regarding changes to schedules or appointments.
- Effectively communicate with the team/clients to explain the correct operation of gas appliances & the importance of regularly servicing gas appliances.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
