We are looking someone to join our team as an Audiology support officer.

You will help to provide a comprehensive, effective, accurate and timely service to audiology patients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and learn new skills such as how to test, fit and repair hearing aids and associated admin procedures.

You will also assist with testing of children at the Gem Centre and will need patients and skills for working with children.

You will complete an induction and mandatory training appropriate to your role and undertake any relevant on the job training.


The Post holder will participate in providing a comprehensive Audiology Service with a focus on supporting routine adult and paediatric clinical audiology and administration across the service.


The post holders will be qualified at Health Care Science Level 2/Assistant Technical Officer qualified or eligible to train through an apprenticeship at this level and will be accountable to the team leader for performance.


The services cover paediatric activity at the Gem Centre, Adult Services at West Park, ENT Services and Vestibular and Adult Neuro-diagnostic Testing at New Cross and Vestibular Rehabilitation at Cannock, with further Audiology services provided at Cannock.
