We are looking for a passionate and experienced
Science Tutor with a proven track record of success in teaching students at
KS3/KS4
level.
Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support.
They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.- This job is
in person in the
Highgate area: - Hour(s): 3
hours per week: - Day(s) and Time(s)
:Wednesdays 12pm, Thursdays 45pm OR Weekdays after 5pm: - Subject and Level
:KS3/KS4 Science: - Start date
:Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to student's learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Ability to work with students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with students with SEMH needs is required
